PROLITE

IPL (Impulse Light Therapy) or ProLight Facials is an easier and more effective method to treat rosacea and other forms of skin discolouration.
It is a breakthrough technology which helps remove red patches and pigmentation changes caused by exposure to sunlight. IPL can be used for treating sunspots, age spots, redness and other pigmentation changes on your face and neck. It does not cause any bruising or the bruising is very slight and there is no recovery period. The therapy is based on light impulses that penetrate the skin. The whole process takes a few 15- or 30-minute-long sessions which should be repeated every three weeks. Redness, dark spots, pigmentation changes and large pores gradually diminish with every session. Sometimes they even disappear completely.
Your skin becomes smoother and the pores look smaller. Four to six sessions are required to achieve fully satisfactory results.
Risk and complications
Every surgery carries some risk. In order to minimise any possible risk of complications, you must provide the surgeon with all details relating to your health, especially if you smoke, are on medication or have undergone a surgery in or around the area which is to be operated upon. You can minimise the risk significantly by choosing a well-qualified and experienced plastic surgeon and by strictly following their advice before and after the surgery. Although currently all plastic surgery procedures are very safe, your surgeon will discuss any possible, although unlikely, complications in connection with your treatment.
